- a laptop (notebook) or
- a desktop computer that has a screen that is moveable. You'll need to be able to tilt it downwards sometimes so you can see it when you are laying on a mat.

Use an Ethernet cableConnect your computer or laptop to your router via an ethernet cable. This will ensure direct transmission. Jo thinks of this as rolling marbles down a pipe - they will all pop out in the same place. Using Wif to get a wireless connection is more like rolling all of those marbles in every direction and only some of them making it to the correct destination.

Keep away from other electrical devicesFor instance having your mobile phone near to your laptop could interfere with your signal.
Anything that gives off radiation eg. washing machines and microwaves could interfere with your signal. Using an ethernet cable will usually stop that from happening. |
Close all apps apart from ZoomThen Zoom can use all the signal rather than it being shared.

Make them wait till later!!Avoid using the internet elsewhere in your house while you're on a Zoom meeting.
SuperJo didn't feel so super when her partner was downloading a HD film while she was on a Zoom meeting. She kept losing connection. Now she makes him wait till later. |
